PaintShop Pro X4 Preset Shapes Question

Post by lmf33 »

Hi

I just bought PaintShop Pro X4 and love it. However when I
make a preset shape and Export to shape it goes to
C:\Users\Lynn\Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\14.0\Preset Shapes

When I go to Custom Preset Shapes to test it, its not in there.
I even copied it to other folders in psp.

Anyone have a solution?

Thank you
Filly

Firstly, go to File Associations and there you will see Preset Shapes in the list on the left under File Types.
In the pane on the right, Preset Shapes, file folders is where all presests are located, those from Corel and custom.
When you make a custom preset to save, it goes into the folder you select.
Look at the lower part under Save to: Where are your presets going? The folder should read:
C:\Users\yourname\Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\14.0\Preset Shapes

Open the above folder and you will see the presets you have created. They will be seen in the Presets drop down window.
