Re: Get Error in PSP X3 When Try to Open Images Created in X
I thought I would give everyone an update on this issue.
I contacted Corel and after a comment of "It sounds like you painted yourself into a corner" which of course did not go over well with me, they set me up with a trial extension. Unfortunately, the extension did not work. I never could get back thru to them by phone so I emailed them and finally received a response a week later. They basically told me that unfortunately I would need to purchase the product and then request a refund within 30 days. So, I ended up buying it and will probably end up keeping it after all because I like how I can scroll thru the fonts and see how my text looks more quickly. Plus the last update to X3 was doing a weird thing with the text and was really getting on my nerves. I use text a lot so how well it does or doesn't work is a huge issue for me.
For anyone else who may run into this problem and decides to go back to X3, this is how you need to save your .pspimage files in X4 to be backwards compatible. (I didn't set the compression value, that was just the default.)
