Can't activate DVD Copy 6

Post by lencuff »

Bought Movie Factory 7 over the weekend - online and got DVD Copy 6 as a bonus. Problem is that I can't seem to activate it?
I was emailed a serial number but it says it's incorrect and when I log into my account at Corel, it shows a different serial which also doesn't work.
Anyone had this sort of problem?

Either you have the correct serial number but incorrect installer or incorrect serial number but correct installer. Either way, you can contact the Corel Support on the phone or on the chat support and they can help you in fixing the problem.

I've sent you a private message for your case number.

I have this problem, but Corel's "Tech Support," has no answers and are unfamiliar with this apparent common problem. Maybe they should try googling on it and they mind notice what some of their problems are. I wasted a lot of time with them on this problem as well as just trying to get DVD Movie Factory 7 Pro to work right on any of my 4 computers. However, they tell me it is always my computer's problem. Brand new, my problem. Just built, my problem. Vista, W7, XP, everything is the computer's problem. So, I keep changing computers. Still nothing works right. Oh yes, I should re-intall the operating system and the 25+ programs, etc., to see if I can make their product install. Well, I just reinstalled the DVD COPY 6, and tried the new serial number they just gave me. Yes, all my data is incorrect according to the error messages. Their "Tech Support" ran out of answers, and they will continue foisting their bug-ridden products onto customers.
