Pro X4 vs Pro X4 Ultimate
Is there a huge difference between Video Studio Pro X4 and Video Studio Pro X4 Ultimate? I assume the program itself is the same, you just get some "extras" with the Ultimate version.

Yes -- the programs are identical. Ultimate comes with Boris Graffiti for titles; and proDad Mercalli stability filter... And you also get WinZip 15 Pro in the package.

The main reason for my purchase of the boxed Ultimate Edition version instead of the normal VS Pro X4, was for the added proDAD Mercalli SE 2 bonus pack. Buying this software seperate to Pro X4 is a far more expensive route to take.
Regarding the proDAD, it takes some experimentation to get the best out of it, and you need to adjust the "customise filter" settings of Virtual Stabi-cam within 'Universal Camera', 'Glide Cam', 'Rock Steady Camera' or 'Alternative Camera' to match each type of video clip; but it definitely helps save important footage that would previously have headed for the reject bin!
In my view, (comparing it to earlier viersions) the Prox X4 Ultimate is the very best Videostudio software from Corel I've ever used on a professional level.
