PSP Video Studio bundle question
Sorry, I didn't see a way to start a topic under using multiple programs. Quick question. If you get a PSP Video Studio bundle like http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite/ ... bview=tab0 with PSP VS X4 Ultimate, are the programs integrated with each other at all or are they essentially completely separate and the only bonus is a price break? The reason why I ask is because if you don't mind getting the non-ultimate versions of each program separately you save some cash (albeit not a whole lot). Just wondering if it's worth it.
Regards, Dan

Re: PSP Video Studio bundle question
I have the VS X4/PSP X4 Ultimate bundled boxed edition. They come as quite separate programs -- VS on one disk and PSP on two others. So no integration.
I have to say, though, that for the relatively small difference in pricing, you get a great deal with the extras that come with the Ultimate packages in the form of the plug-ins/filters with PSP and Boris Graffiti and proDad Mercalli with VS... While you might not want many or any of these at the moment, there may come a day when you kick yourself that you didn't spend the extra when confronted with the price of just one of these added bundles...

Re: PSP Video Studio bundle question
Thanks Ken, I am sort of leaning towards the Ultimate bundles, but I never use the free KPT filters that came with PSP X3 and didn't really see the need for the extras in Ultimate, but like you say I may use them eventually. Hmmmm

Re: PSP Video Studio bundle question
I personally am rather fond of the KPT lot. In fact they were among the first photo filters I bought when Kai was selling his packages as stand-alone programs way back in the early '90s...! I think the KPT filters are the same whether for X3 or X4, but the Nik filter bundle is also pretty good and gives an enormous range of possibilities -- though I am only playing with it at the moment.

Re: PSP Video Studio bundle question
I have the Nik filters already because it came with Photoshop. Don't use those either, but that's due in part to not using PS unless I have too. Hate the program personally.

Re: PSP Video Studio bundle question
Dan - can't you point PSP to the Nik plug-ins in PS?

Re: PSP Video Studio bundle question
I don't know, I think I tried it once but didn't put too much effort into it. Just didn't really see the need for those plug-ins, but that's probably a personal preference thing.Kathy_9 wrote:Dan - can't you point PSP to the Nik plug-ins in PS?
