X4 Trial Expired after 1 day

I'm a registered user of X3, installed the trial of X4 yesterday and it was working ok, and I registered it ok online as requested. This morning when I tried to start the program it just came up and said my trial period had expired and that was it.
Anyone else had this problem. I tried sending a support question to Corel but they need to know the product registration code which of course I don't have.
I haven't tried re- installing it yet but I'm guessing that won't help.

Tried re-installing it but makes no difference, anyone one from support about?

Welcome to the forums!

Unfortunately for you, this is a user to user web board run by volunteer users... There are a couple of Corel employees who visit from time to time, but they too will probably say you need to get in touch with Corel directly with this particular problem -- though you then risk getting into an endless loop depending who you get at the end of the line, since Corel also have a policy of not supporting trial versions! :evil:

Hi Ken, thanks for the reply,
I have tried contacting support but didn't get very far without the registration code. It looks as though I will have to stay with X3 until the next release, there must be a bug in X4 that doesn't like setup.
From reports I've read I don't think there were many worthwhile changes in X4 so I'm probably not going to miss a lot.
