Have just started working on VS and discovered a strange issue. I can put a piece of video in the clip window to mark in/out points and it plays fine. When I drag it to the timeline and play as a clip, there is no audio!
Any suggestions?
Have tried rendering out to DVD with same problem.

Unfortunately, we simply do not have enough information to be able to make even a reasonable guess at a solution. You never filled in your computer details when you registered, and we always ask what your set-up is, so correcting that lack of information would be a good start.
But we also have no idea what your video format is, and what kind of camcorder or other device was used to film it.
Please have a look at this sticky post at the top of this forum -- it is called, indicatively, PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE POSTING http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?p=41454#p41454 Then get back to us with the information requested and hopefully someone will be able to help.
And as a hint, to find out the properties of your video, right click on the clip either in the VS timeline or library window and select Properties.
