Just bought a nikon digital acamera, installed the software and now my Corel Paintshop pro x3 has vanished from my PC, i bought the software from corel as an upgrade to po x but corel tell me its now superseded they dont offer support and i have to buy another one, as i only upgraded 12 months ago, it seems rather poor.
i have the activation keys tc, any ideas how i can get a download copy of the software

X3 is still officially supported.

gone completely
the link only seems to download a media player
strrangely via the link i found it on corels website to purchase X3 but the technical support wont show me how to download it.

With as tough as it is to remove PSP X3 I'd be surprised if it's actually been removed. Try looking in C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel PaintShop Photo Pro\X3\PSPClassic The program itself is called "Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo.exe". If you can find that and copy a shortcut to it from where ever you find useful you may be back in business.
If you're trying to right click or double click and have PSP open the file rather than your Nikon software you'll need to set up Default Programs for the file type again. A quick Google search showed me this http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixthepro ... gramxp.htm which looks about right to me, but I don't have XP to be sure.

Consider yourself lucky. I'm starting to wish X4 would just vanish from my PC. Just re download it from the Corel site and use your numbers.
