Hello,
This message is just to inform the technical staff that on some computers WinDVD 11 doesn't run at all.
I installed the latest trial version of WinDVD11 to see how it runs the standard Blu RAY'S but prog can't start and run at all.
Win DVD11 tries to change display settings to basic and prog crashes. There is some incompatibilities. Fortunately I tried trial and didn't buy the full version. I tried to uninstall and install it again but the result is the same so I uninstalled it definitively and leave this message for the staff.

For now, to play standard BluRay's, free DAPlayer is for me the best choice.

Re: WinDVD 11 bug or compatibility issue
Unfortunately, this is a user to user forum and none of us here work for Corel. Moreover, as far as we are aware, none of "the staff" ever come here. So I am afraid your message will not get through this way. Perhaps if you reported it directly to them...?

Re: WinDVD 11 bug or compatibility issue
FYI,
Since installing WinDVD11 on my HP EliteBook I'm unable to play any DVD's, I continually get a message "Media Not Supported" on standard and BluRay DVD's. If I close WinDVD11 and open WinDVD8 on the same laptop I can play most of the same DVD's with the exception of the newest Blu-Ray. Being that I wasn't able to update the AACS key for WInDVD8 I decided to upgrade to WinDVD11 to avoid the headache, now I'm unable to play anything with WInDVD11.
I've opened case and waiting to hear back from Corel support...
