I don't believe it but PSPX4 give a space after the text. This was a issue in PSPX3 but was fixed in one of the patches. and now it's the same here too. *Sigh*
I don't know where to report bugs but I hope someone here could do that!
I'm mostly satisfied with X4 and thank you for everything you do in here!

You report bugs to Corel through one of their customer support options.
During the Beta a few people did not receive this bug but it was reported by those of us who did. And none of the patches in X3 fixed this for me so it's definitely not a consistent across all systems bug. Don't be that disappointed in them, they haven't fixed it for everybody in either version of the program.

Re: Text not center in PSPX4
I have the problem in X4 and still have the same problem is X3. You can get around this by adding a space at the beginning of the text. The idea of having to do workarounds irritates me immensely, especially since it's been a problem for so long. But what are we to do?

Re: Text not center in PSPX4
I don't hate work-arounds as they are a necessity with every piece of software. When it's a work-around a bug specifically it gets a little more frustrating. But only when it's something major. Adding a space to the front of a piece of text...not that frustrating for me personally.
But I do hope they find a solution soon. It seems like such a very odd bug.

Re: Text not center in PSPX4
I use text a lot so maybe that is why it bothers me more than some. But my feeling is that workarounds should only be part of an initial software release and at the very least should be fixed with the next release. As long as people remain complacent and are accepting of an inferior product, Corel is not going to spend the money to research and fix these problems.
Quite honestly, I find it really poor business to keep pushing out new releases that customers have to pay for in order to get a "fix" for a couple of unresolved issues. I don't use PSP to it's full extent so I'm sure there are a lot of good changes in X4 that I'm not seeing. But, the only change that I personally have found in X4 that is an improvement rather than a fix has to do with scrolling thru multiple text fonts making it much easier for me to find the best font style for a graphic. I have noticed that PSP locks up a lot less often when using gradients, patterns, etc in X4 than in X3, but to me that is a fix of an existing problem.
