Does the new Paintshop X4 Uninstall OK?

Post by Hooterville »

I hope it's not another X3 that will refuse to uninstall from windows 7. I'm hoping that Corel will get something right with this mess.

I was able to remove it from the Programs icon of Windows 7 and we have a manual removal steps at http://corel.force.com/index/articles/e ... hop-Pro-x4.

My job for the PSPX4 Beta was more or less to test all possibilities of removing and installing on XP, Vista and Windows 7.

How to remove PSPX4 ?

Go to Start - Control Panel - Software (XP) / Programs and Features (Vista, Windows 7) and remove PSPX4.

Restart the system if you want to reinstall it.

Why don't we need to use other tools or to remove further folders?

The DevTeam has spent time and excellent work to implement an uninstall tool inside the application. Simple using the Control Panel will remove all necessary keys and folders from your system.

Please be so kind and try the simplest way and don't use or recommend any other tools.

Thanks for your understanding!
