Burn DVD in MovieFactory 7 SE without a menu
Is there anyway to burn a DVD in MovieFactory SE 7 without a menu? I have Corel VideoStudio Pro X3 and when I click on Share the only option I seem to get is Movie Facrory. I cannot find any option that avoids the menu. I would like to burn DVDs that play straight from the start without a menu. Is this possible?

If under Tools in X3 all that is showing is DVD Factory 2010, then it would appear that you have not downloaded and installed Movie Factory 7 SE. And you probably also haven't updated X3. Downloading SP1 of VS X3 will also install MF 7 SE.
You can download and install the VS X3 updates by going to http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite/ ... 0460544373
Just be aware that to use MF 7 SE, you have first to produce a new DVD-compatible mpeg-2 in X3 (Share > Create Video File > DVD). If you have MF 7 SE installed, then it will appear under Tools in X3 along with DVD Factory 2010. If you select MF 7 SE, X3 will close and MF 7 will open. You insert your new mpeg-2. And above the burning timeline to the left, there is a 'Create Menu' box which you can untick if you don't want the menu...
If you don't want to apply SP 1, then you can download Mf 7 SE by clicking on the following link: http://www.corel.com/akdlm/6763/downloa ... orVSX3.exe

Re: Burn DVD in MovieFactory 7 SE without a menu
Thank you for your help. It is much appreciated. I didn't realize that the MovieFactory I got with the program was not the SE7 version. I have updated the X3 program and downloaded Movie Factory SE 7 but haven't had a chance to make a movie with it yet. I will follow your instructions and I don't really expect any further problems. I will post if I do run into any problems. Thanks again for your help.

The point is that you never got MovieFactory -- you got DVD Factory, which is a totally different program and a load of rubbish, according to 99.9% of us here!I didn't realize that the MovieFactory I got with the program was not the SE7 version.
But good luck with MovieFactory 7 SE...
