I just downloaded and am on 30 day trial.
I was hoping to capture a family dvd playing on my laptop which is running Video Studio x64 ... but it doesnt seem to want to let me change the source from Webcam???
Should I be able to do this ... seems to me it should. thanks for any help.

Yes that should be possible provided the disc is not copyright.
From File choose "Insert Media File to Timeline"—Insert Digital Media.
Browse for your CD/DVD Drive, expand and select Video _TS folder
From the following window select your Titles
The imported files will be saved to the Working Folder, you can allocate a new working folder if you wished.
