VS X2Pro - no more Video Filters

Post by willydeluxe »

When I open VS and insert video, the "Edit" tab (in the topmost horizontal tab bar) is highlighted and I see the Overlays in the righthand panel: if I click on other tabs they highlight and show the appropriate options in the righthand panel.
However, when clicking on the "Attributes" tab (halfway down the righthand panel) the panel goes blank: if I click on the adjacent "Video" tab the panel remains blank.
It seems that I have lost Video Filters.
The Video Filters option shows in the dropdown box, with an "All" to the left of it, but nothing shows.

Hi

Can you please update your profile to include your PC specification.
This will show to the right of your post. Knowing your PC details may help when answering your questions.

Have you tried anything to fix this problem, Re-Install, Update Direct X.........

When did you first notice the problem, have you changed or installed anything on your PC that may affect Video Studio.?

Just an assumption.. if you are using Windows 7, then that can be a problem, since VS X2 is not compatible with Windows 7. Also... last resort that I can see you doing is to perform a manual reinstallation of VS X2. To do that, you can follow these steps corel.force.com/index/articles/en_US/Master_Article/763309-How-to-manually-remove-VideoStudio-X2

Abiel -- how many more times do we have to say to you that X2 is definitely compatible with Windows 7 if you apply the Win 7 patch supplied by Corel itself to make it compatible!!
