MovieFactory 7 do not detect video recorder device

MovieFactory 7 do not detect video recorder device

Hi,
Movie factory 7 do not detect my video recorder device, WinTV-pvr USB2.
I was using MF 3 SE for many years now and was working fine.

Any sugestions?

Generally, you have to use the capture software that came with the hardware. So, you'll need to continue to use the older software for capture (if it runs on your current computer). Once you've got a digital A/V file on your hard drive, MF7 should work for editing & authoring DVDs if you want to use it. It does have lots of improvements!

If you're using a trial version of MF7, you might want to try-out Video Studio. Video Studio can also make DVDs,

If you've upgraded your computer or operating system and MF3 doesn't work, you'll probably need to get a new capture device and use the software that comes with it. :(

And, if you get a new capture device, beware of the very-cheap ones. The real EZ-Cap seems to work fine for most people, but the "fake" EazyCap seems to cause lots of trouble. (The real EZ-Cap doesn't work with directly Corel software either. But again, once you have a digital file on your disc, you can use the editing & DVD authoring software of your choice.)
