Corel phot paint help

Post by Dragonsmurf »

I cannot find a Corel Photo paint thread and I since I am limited to the first few forums currently (posting new thread) I will ask my question here.

Years ago (1999) I purchased Core photo paint 9, and just recently a friend got me a copy of Corel Draw/Photo Paint x5. I tried to make simple chrome lettering, The book I gotten with Corel photo paint 9 gave me a tuitorial on how to do just that (it required a lot of steps, none of this BS you see on the net) Since I found myself with Photo Paint X5 I decided to try my hands at chroming Tribal dragons for my website. Well SInce I forgotten the steps I ordered the Corel photo paint 9 ultimate guide and it does not have that tutorial I need. ANd your "Ultimate Guide" For X5 does not contain it either. So is there any one here know how to do a "GOOD", emphasis on the word GOOD, chrome guide? I do remember having to use Emboss, glass, displace, fill, and a few other steps in order to do the chrome guide properly. Because I was able to bend other images into the chrome images as well.

I'm sorry, but there is a whole other web board for products associated with CorelDraw, including PhotoPaint. You'll find it at http://coreldraw.com/forums/ But good luck!!
