Using a Microphone for Narration

Post by yertizagain »

Hi Guys
Up until now, I have been using a 'Plug in' microphone.
I have recently purchased another microphone which uses a USB connection. When I use this Microphone in the 'Narration' mode, there is no sound on 'Playback'. although, when I use the 'Plug-In' mic, the sound is ok. Do I need to alter any settings, if so How do I go about it.
Regards
Mike H

You might have to right-click on the little speaker icon in the lower-right corner of your computer's task bar. Select Recording Devices. You should see your USB microphone listed. In the screen shot, It shows my Headset/mic. Just select it so your system will know which to use. You may have to close and reopen your program to get it to use it.
