Video editor wont open

In media studio pro 7.0,the video editor wont open.The main window opens,then a loading bar apears titled "Initialisation",the bar freezes at "Creating Audio Filters Gallery... 85%".

The program stays frozen on this screen as long as i leave it open.

Can someone please help me.

Some DirectX audio filters installed in your system are not compatible with MSP. If you are not using an trial version of MSP, go to http://www.ulead.com/tech/msp/msp_ftp.htm to download MSP7 SP2 patch and then it should be fixed.

Unfortunately,Im using the trial version.

Is there somewhere I could get compatible ditectX filters?

You can manually change a setting to avoid the conflict. Check bellow setting to disable DirectX Audio Filter in MSP:

Under system drive:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead MediaStudio Pro\7.0\msp.ini, change the setting to 1.

[DXAudMgr]
DisableDXAudio = 1

However, this will cause DirectX Audio Filter Manager and its audio filters not to load into Production library of VE but you can use MSP VE in your PC.

You might also consider to buy it from Ulead web site.
