I have checked my settings from PSPx3 with PSPx4 and everything seems the same when using the paintbrush tool but yet every time no matter the hardness level of the brush i end up with a white border on my texture .. NOT visible inside the program itself but becomes visible once I apply the texture to avatar.
Can anyone tell me what I am missing here?
PNG files showing white borders when opened in X4 version ..

Re: How to stop white border when using paint tool ...
Can you tell us what you're doing? Because that picture shows a hard edge but doesn't explain what you're doing or how you're doing it.
In everything I do I never have that with my brushes.

Re: How to stop white border when using paint tool ...
I have found also that this seems to be a transparency issue ... with X4 or a setting for it somewhere that needs changed that I am unaware of. Anything I open up in X4 that is a png file and has NO border around it before hand ends up with a border once its opened in X4 .... any suggestions anyone? (a white border)
