hi i got a similar problem when i render videos i try to play on multiple video player and there is no sound
even whn i put in another editor no sound
im using the mpeg 4 hd setting to render any help

I'm in the same position on my Sony VAIO Desktop while it works fine on my Sony laptop! I get no sound when playing any video or audio files in VS but the behave normally with other players???

Also try switching to Audio View when you first insert the clip to the timeline...on some PC's (mysterius reason) it can take upto 60 seconds for the audio to appear/load. In Audio view you can watch it load then you can hear audio when playing the clip

I've now tried uninstall/reinstall with no improvement! But all the clips and audio play perfectly on my Sony laptop!? It seems as if some mysterious switch is turned off rather than on. I've tried playing with everything but with no success. Come on Corel - this is a bug and must be known to you?
