Hardware Acceleration Boxes Grayed Out

Post by twelvexes »

I'm having the X4 crashing issue when creating .mp4 files for my iPhone. I read that one of the potential resolutions was to turn on (or off) the hardware acceleration options. All those boxes on my performance tab are currently unchecked, but they are also grayed out so I couldn't check them to see if that helped the crashing issue even if i wanted to. Any idea why they are grayed out? Thanks.

I assume it is because you do not have a graphics card which enables hardware acceleration.

However, it is difficult to say since you don't tell us anything about your computer specifications. More often than not, when users post problems here, we need to know something about their computer architecture as this is often pertinent to their problems. This is why we include questions about your computer in the registration process. Those details then appear in your profile, so you don't have to repeat them in future if you have further problems. You can fill them in now if you like by clicking on the 'User Control Panel' button in the top left of screen and choosing the Profile tab: or click here http://forum.corel.com/EN/ucp.php
