Pallets moving by themselves and driving me bananas

Post by flagpole »

i like my layout to look like this.
http://nigelcoldwell.co.uk/test/before.png
in particular i'm referring to the pallets on the right hand side.

but whenever i put them like that, and close psp next time i open it it looks like this
http://nigelcoldwell.co.uk/test/aft.png
so everytime i launch psp, literally every time i have to move the pallets around. and it's driving me mad.

then sometimes, if i drag in a large image it does this:

it's never done this before. i don't understand and more than any other issues it's making me want to ditch it.

Have you saved your workspace once you get it set the way you want it?

I have yeah. I just have the one workspace saved, how i like it. i can revert to that. but next time i open it, it's done it again.
workspace http://nigelcoldwell.co.uk/test/x4standard.zip

i think it's related to the issue with other.png because it seems to be stretching the materials pallet as it has to when it's narrowed. i also wondered if it was to do with me using a 1080p display, it's like it's preparing the layout for a smaller display and then fitting it to my screen.

an obvious workaround is to open psp from the workspace rather than the psp shortcut, but it's a bit daft.
