Hello Folks,
I'm nquite new to this program. Have VideoStudio X4 Ultimate.
I have a major issue here and sure hope this is user error - otherwise it would be a major drawback for me.
How can I move a clip or a picture in a certain way.
An example:
I want it to move in from the left side small, while going to the middle get bigger, then rotate 180° and continue to move it in the upper right corner.
I'm stuck. The only options I see are the very basic ones from the screen shot.
Anybody any input?
Thank you.

Hi
And welcome to the forums
The right of this panel should show your PC specification, can you go to your User Control Panel - Profile and add the details, thanks.
The Direction and Styles affect the way the video appears on screen, Fade In for example.
Using The Picture-in-Picture affect from FX will probably do what you want.
There are also Cropping—Video Pan & Zoom options to look at.

Re: Move-in overlay clip
To my mind, it is most definitely the Picture-in-Picture filter (FX) that will achieve this. So click on the FX button to the immediate right of the preview screen, then select the PiP filter and apply it to your video clip, the Customise it to suit what you are after... It is not overly easy to get that filter working for you but have a look at a tutorial for it, and it may help: http://www.vimeo.com/8978357

Re: Move-in overlay clip
Thank you, guys.
PiP from FX looks nice, but it's time consuming... especially since it's not working in combination with the grid to allign objects.
I'll take a look at the howto video.
I didn't fill out the whole details about my system yet, because my question was not related to it. Wanted to save some time. Will for sure have the details if there is a system/performance related questions are coming up.
Regards.
