PSP X4 will not install
Hello. I do not know English and I write for online translator.
I apologize for possible errors. Please help. I downloaded the PSP X4 ver. Trial and I have a problem with the installation. Bar initiation system is offline, and immediately transferred to the progress of the installation license card acceptance. When I select the button activates the consent of the "next" but when I click on the installation of stands. The button is still active, but clicking on it does not install.
I had already installed my PSP PSP X2 and X3, there were no problems with the installation.
The computer meets the requirements of the installation.
I have to test the program before purchasing and I already have a problem.
Please help. Thank you in advance for any answers. Yours sincerely.

Re: PSP X4 will not install
Welcome to the forums,
How long did you wait before cancelling or stopping the installation? The installers for most of Corel's recent programs are very, very slow, especially on older systems. Are you running any other programs while trying to install? It's best to not run anything else while installing a program.

Thank you for the welcome:)
When I stood on the license, I waited about a half hour. I repeated seven times to install and continues to be the same. I know how long it took to install PSPX3 the last version, so I waited a long time.
When the first window shows the arrangement of the installation with the installation bar goes not only visible band but not in the middle of the installation goes and jumps for a second second window with the license and after inserting a bird ... click "Continue" is active and can be pressed into it forever and nothing. The button is still active and the installation is located.
Of course, I have closed during the installation of other programs.
Very often I install something on your computer and never had such a problem. Earlier versions instalowały successfully install X3 and only a long time.
To verify the installation of the downloaded PSP X4, I installed the program with friends and took a decidedly less than the PSP X3 and there were no problems.
Such a problem like mine with PSPX4 has more people.
Maybe someone will cause?
Sorry for the syntax.

Hi Ken
Sorry done it again----I meant Hi Ron
Does PSP suffer a similar problem of User Account
Creating a temporary account has allowed some to install the program?

Re: PSP X4 will not install
Writing in a previous post that such a problem with the installation has more people, I mean my other foreign persons who created the Internet about the problem.
But if I misunderstood your question is:
I have only one user account on the computer as Administrator and it installs all of my PSP. Owner's just me this computer and that is why I have one account.
Please help me suggestions. Maybe we can find the problem ...

Hi Igman
I know there have been problems installing Video Studio that have been fixed by creating another “User Account” as Admin
Install the program using the new account then remove the account.
I just wondered if this approach would help with the installation of PSP?

What trevor is suggesting, install the program by using a newly created windows user with admin rights. You can create a new user by following these steps http://support.microsoft.com/kb/279783, then just login to that user and install the program while logged into that new users.

Re: PSP X4 will not install
1 - Exactly what I did. I set up a new user account with elevated privileges and then, after logging fired PSP X4. Installing the card Initializing the Setup Wizard, this time went well but at the end jumped out the window with the message that this account to the installation must have Administrator rights.
2 - I set a second account with Administrator rights and when you log in as owner-logged into the Administrator account and fired PSP X4. The installation went exactly as what was previously a problem that I described above. Just as the account owner, and therefore impossible to install.
Squaring the circle:(

Re: PSP X4 will not install
Hi,
I've got the same issue with evaluating psp x4. It installs okay, but crashes as soon as I run the application. I've tired creating new admin user, uninstall and then re-install, all to now avail.
Any ideas. I've been using psp for years and a loath to go to elements.
Regards,
Paul.

Hi
There is another post regarding installation, seems as though Microsoft Security Essentials may be causing some problems

Re: PSP X4 will not install
Microsoft Security Essentials should not be a problem
the problem may be not another Rams..
IGB or 2GB isn't enough in XP I would have thought
I had 1.5GBS in my old XP compter and X3 wouldn't install..
Cheers
