Request

Post by Auntie_Denise »

Hey Everyone,

I hope this works. I use to own Corel Videostudio Pro X2, unfortunately my computer cashed few years after and since Corel doesn't have this program anymore I was hopeing someone could help me. I'm now an owner of the new version of X4. There was this wonderful song on X2, it was with one of that already premade video. Now I don't know what it's called but it sounds like an ocean, with a guitar. I remember the video with the song itw as a cross of four white boxes. I did find a clip of the song, but I would really like to have the full version of it. Is there any chance that someone out there has the song and can upload it? If so I would greatly deeply appreciate it. Thank you so much for your time.

Welcome to the forums Denise, :)

So far I don't have any idea what song you're looking for. Could you give us more of a hint? Where did you find the audio clip? Is there some way you could point us to a link that has that song? I have so many, trying to go through all of them would be very time consuming.

I have just been through all the Sample videos (and audios!) in my version of VS X2, and cannot find anything with four white boxes on it. Moreover, all the sample video files have no audio... I guess that makes sense as they are to be used as intros, endings or fillers, and would take on the user's own musical background.

But as I understand it, you want us not only to identify the music, but also somehow to come up with a full version of it. The musical samples in VS only play for 20 or 30 seconds, but I suspect you want two or three minutes. Can you confirm? If so, however, I think you don't have much of a chance...

Searching (search function) within the corel video studio 12 folder for .mpa brings up many audio renditions.

If you are looking for inspiration, there are many instrumental/experimental bands c1970`s

Maybe you could create your sounds after listening to Tangerine Dreams “Force Majeure”.

Well its a start maybe?
