Re: Help! Videos not looking sharp.
I forgot to ask, why doesn't the shimmering show up on the camcorder when I play it?

Hi
As far as I am aware the shimmering is showing on the rendered file, the 1280 x 720 file.
Are you saying that the shimmering is visible on the original file after importing to the PC, and before you have edited it.

Re: Help! Videos not looking sharp.
Yes it is. It is not visible on the camcorder, however after I download it and play it through either VS X4 or another player, it shows. Now, the weird thing is, it is not always visible when just playing it. For example, on the clip I posted, the shimmering or squiggle isn't always visible. Sometimes it is towards the top 1/4 of the screen, other times it isn't and it plays perfect. However, AFTER i edit it and convert it, it is always visible. I hope that doesn't confuse anyone. It is rather hard to explain.

Hi
So how are you transferring the footage to the PC.
Are you using the software that came with the camera, if any

Yes, I am using the PMB software that came with the camera. Should I try using VS X4 to transfer?

Hi
Not X4, we would suggest using the cameras software.
Otherwise it a simple Windows operation of “drag and drop” or “copy and paste” from camera to pc
