Hello,
since version X4 I sometimes have the problem that no layer has the focus anymore. So no layer is active and then I cannot select any tool. I never had that befor and I do not like it.
Is that a bug or a new feature which makes sence in some cases? ( I have no idea which case that could be.)
Can I switch that "new feature" off?

Re: All layer loose the focus
1) If I select an vector object I cannot deselect it anymore with Ctrl.-D.
2) If I click into an empty area to deselect the object it is deselected but the layer looses its focus. The result is that I cannot select another object until I click onto the layer to activate it.
This did work in version X3 (and older). What can I do to give a bug message to Corel?

Always I try to contact the german support this is very difficult. They try to avoid contact. I now tried to send them a message twice but it does not work. I get the message that the website no longer exist. It costs me a lot of time to write a message and try to send it to the support. Now I will no longer make me a fool.

Re: All layer loose the focus
If you select the PICK TOOL then select the vector object then click on any empty area within the workspace there will no longer be any object selected that is when you'll lost focus on the layers... , but you can re-focus on an layer by clicking on any other object or by clicking on any menu or option then click back the image.
If this is the first time you have encountered this problem. You may want to reset you workspace.
You can do that by pressing and holding down the SHIFT key then double-click on the PSP icon then when you received the message "DO YOU WAN TO RESTORE PAINTSHOP Pro TO ITS DEFAULT STATE?" just click OK.
I have also reported this and I'm waiting for any updates on the issue.

Re: All layer loose the focus
Thank you very much for your answer. I tried to report the problem to Corel Support but I could not find a way. Each time I used the form to contact german support I got the message that the website I am searching for is not available. Is there a way to report problems directly to Corel NA?
Back to the problem:
Yes the layer looses the focus if I click on an empty area. But I cannot re-focus on an layer by clicking on any other object. If that would work it would be ok but it does not work until I re-focus a layer by clicking directly onto a layer in the layer box.
