De-Registering
I wish to de-register PSP 11 and pass on to a friend as I have now purchased PSP X3; the copy of Video Studio X3 and PSPP X3 already registered were OEM products on a laptop which was recently sold. How do I de-register the products and wipe the slate clean?

Re: De-Registering
Contact Corel, but I'm afraid you may be out of luck. The license is in effect a long term rental and not transferable.

Re: De-Registering
DF is correct sort of...
With programs that you purchase and register you can transfer the registration. You do need to go through Corel to do that. Where you have a problem is that they are OEM. For you to be able to give them to someone, you must also give them the hardware (computer) that they were installed on.

Re: De-Registering
Many thanks for the replies: I will contact Corel re. my copy of PSP 11; the 2 OEM X3 products are on a laptop which has been sold as mentioned in my post, but they are still registered to me. I normally avoid registering products and if this turns out to be a hassle, I will not be registering any products in the future!

Re: De-Registering
Hello ags150,
If you can send me the email address where you register the OEM product, then I can have someone to handle this for you. I created a case number for your issue and you should be able to see it as a new private message.

Re: De-Registering
Piggybacking on this question.
I have registered PSP x3 (OEM) and PSP x5 (DVD). I own but did not register VSP x3 (OEM). I have PSP x5 on my main system, would like to install/transfer or otherwise load x3 on another system since only 1 install per license. All I have is an image from an HP OEM system that died a few months ago, but my account has a clear registration. I found the setup files, but it stopped me because it's exclusive to an HP machine. Is there a way around this? Thanks.
