X4 constantly crashes during editing

As I just asked you in another thread, have you got hardware acceleration enable or disabled in Settings > Preferences > Performance? And if you switch from one to the other, does it affect the crashing?

I've been having a similar problem with VS Pro... anytime I pull a mts file into multi-trim video mode and begin working it crashed my system. I'm do not have hardware acceleration on, in fact, those check boxes are grayed out.... any suggestions?

I, too, am having this problem. I'm working along on X4 PRO, everything's fine, then POOF! The program disappears and all the work was for naught. The HARDWARE ACCELERATION area is greyed out in the performance box. Any suggestions?
