Yes. I have a comment. What you failed to indicate in your posting with those links is that they take you to a page with a large red Download button. However, it doesn't download any templates, but instead installs an unwanted free download manager called iLivid. In the interests of fairness I will, however, add that my Nortons 360 indicates that it is safe, though it appears to have completely wiped my Downloads list from Firefox, which I find very annoying.

There is a smaller blue button below the red one which is what you need to press to get the template.

So thank you, but you need to give better explanations if you plan to do this more in future.

I was even more annoyed this morning to find that when I rebooted my computer, my various home tabs had been wiped and replaced by an incomplete page of a search engine I had never heard of: searchqu. The only change that I have made to my computer in the past 24 hours was to download and inadvertently install that download manager associated with KOBRA's links above.

So again I can only say to people tempted to download his tempates: it is NOT as simple as he explains. There are TWO 'Download' links on the page which appears when you click his links, and you must avoid the RED one. Choose the blue. Or wait for him to follow Trevor's instructions...

On further investigation, I decided to remove Kobra's links altogether. The Download Manager that you all too easily download and install using his links in fact also installs an invasive and pernicious piece of rootkit malware called searchqu. A simple Google search will tell you all you never wanted to know about it and the elaborate steps you have to take to get rid of it. In fact, I am surprised that my normally excellent Nortons 360 did not handle it straight off. Anyway, I am now in the process of trying to clean out my computer, but I don't want anyone else falling into the trap.

Hopefully Kobra will now post his templates in a safe way on the PhotoVideo Life website in a safe manner!

I think that for concern for security and safety of board members, anyone wanting to share templates, it must be done through Photovideolife.com. Any other links to download files will be promptly removed. Members posting links to malware, spyware, or virus infected sites, will be banned without question!!!

I agree, Ron, and had thought about it in this case. But I don't think this was done deliberately by Kobra -- he just used an upload site which has a cunning way of getting you to download an unwanted program which has malware embedded in it.

I am still in the process of trying to remove all traces of it, by the way!

My computer gets too heavy because I downloaded from there to check what I וUploade, so now I had to reformat my computer just in case

That may have been the quicker route. As it was, it took me about 4 hours before I was satisfied I wiped everything out of it!

Corel created http://www.photovideolife.com for the purpose of sharing, and eventually selling templates. For this reason if you want to share your templates to members of this forum, upload them to Photovideolife.com. Do not upload them to some other web host and post links. Do due the previous mishap, and I do understand it was not intentional, we will not allow this to protect others.

i upload to this site maybe 5 new templates 2 days ago and they dont publish them,i sent them a mesaj and i still waiting for respone from them whats going up with my temlates,this site is not active at all,nobudi shere there a templates beside me.
