Tags and ratings

I just installed X4, upgrading from X3. Is there any reason the tags and star ratings from X3 did not transfer when X4 was installed? X3 is still on the computer and the tags and ratings are still showing up there. Is there a database file to transfer to the X4 folder? Thanks in advance.
