How right you are.
Thanks for the tip - I've pushed my pixels out wide after I crop or resize
Now we just want Corel to fix the "Auto size check box".
This is supposed to "Automatically reset the magnification level to display an entire image on opening"
I'm sure it worked in an early version of X4.

I wish we had a thumbs up or thanks button. Thanks

I don't like the way that works at all. When I uncheck the first box, I end up with the image window still the same size on the screen as it was before resizing but the view of the image itself still shrinks too small and sometimes ends up in the top left corner and goes partially off the screen. That's too quirky for me. I put the setting back to the way it was with all of the options checked.
Using Paint Shop Pro versions 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 14, 16

I agree 100%, went back to both boxes checked.
Hopefully Corel will fix this mess.
The problem with the "jumping" windows out of the screen has nothing to do with this settings. I got that problem with the checkbox select and without. This is a problem I have since version X3 but not everytime. I too have the problem that simetime I get the pictures tabbed without having this option switched on.
I think that the two options we are talking about are contradictory (is that the right word). If I change the size of a picture I can keep the zoom factor and change the size of the window or I keep the size of the window and change the zoom factor.
The program reacts correctly if I switch off both options and if I switch on just one of them. If I switch on both what should happen?

Is the first option more applicable to Windowed Images and the second to Tabbed Documents mode?
