Trevor -- many thanks for your offer of help. I'm in California near Los Angeles -- 8 hours time difference which is managable during our mornings -- late afternnon and evening for you. But in the meanitme I have signed up for Corel's "Platinum" protection plan which, in theory anyway, means I can pester them constantly for the next year. I can't imagine why I didn't try this before. Its not that expensive and should do the trick. If not, I'll soon be on your doorstep with tickets to Alaska in hand... Thanks again. N Noxon
