PaintShop Pro X4 - Keyboard shortcut broken
Recently upgraded to this version. CTRL-O shortcut doesn't work, nothing happens.
Files can be opened okay with File/Open, but the shortcut is broken. Other shortcut
keys operate correctly.
Just me - or a bug? Using v14.0.0.332.
PS: Give us back to option to dump the Graphite theme - it's useless.

No, it's not just you. Ctr+O doesn't work here either.
BTW, I happen to like the Graphite interface.

Robin -- please do not double post. New users have to have their first few posts approved before they actually appear. But we are volunteers who staff this Board, so we cannot be around all the time. I will delete your other identical post to avoid confusion.
As for the graphite workspace, apart from vPod above, nearly everyone else doesn't like it either. And Corel say they will bring out a new option in a patch.

Re: PaintShop Pro X4 - Keyboard shortcut broken
Actually, it's a little different on my machine. When I press Ctrl+O it opens the Save As... dialog!
As a test I tried uninstalling X4 and then deleting all registry values, AppData/Local|Roaming directories, and My Documents directories for both X3 and X4. (X3 was the first version of PSP installed on this machine.) Then I reinstalled X4. That didn't make any difference. So it doesn't appear to be an upgrade-related issue, just a bug in the new version.

Re: PaintShop Pro X4 - Keyboard shortcut broken
Maybe they just changed what that keyboard shortcut does or elimated it completely. Do they still show it in the File menu for "Open"? They changed what Ctrl+V does at some point in time. In almost every other program that I'm aware of, and for most versions of PSP, Ctrl+V was just plain Paste. Sometime around PSPX2, they changed it to Paste as New Layer and I still have a hard time remembering that. They've also changed the shortcut keys for various tools and options over the years. For example, the shortcuts for viewing and hiding some of the toolbars and palettes changed a few versions back.
Using Paint Shop Pro versions 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 14, 16

Re: PaintShop Pro X4 - Keyboard shortcut broken
ctrl O doesn't do anything for me. In fact I tried assigning that to something else (Twain Acquire since it didn't have anything assigned) and it still didn't do anything. In fact I tried assigning ctrl shift O to open and it still won't do anything.... unless I already have another image open. If there's already anther image open ctrl O works as it used to in previous versions (after I reset it to Open). Sounds like a little bug to me.

Re: PaintShop Pro X4 - Keyboard shortcut broken
Because of the new UI of PSP X4, I would assume that some of the shortcut keys will change. If you want to view all shortcut keys, you can click on the HELP MENU then select KEYBOARD MAP... If the keyboard short is now working as indicated in the Keyboard Map, you can reset your workspace. You can do that by pressing and holding down the SHIFT key then double-click on the PSP icon then when you received the message "DO YOU WAN TO RESTORE PAINTSHOP Pro TO ITS DEFAULT STATE?" just click OK.

If I am in MANAGE mode, CTRL O brings up the open screen and if I select a picture it takes me to the EDIT mode. If I am in ADJUST or EDIT mode, CTRL O opens up a SAVE AS screen.

Adding my 2 cents here...I just tried Ctrl+0 in edit mode and mine also goes to Save As. I checked to see if the shortucts were screwed up and they aren't.
