Banding in PSP X4 warp brush

Post by kevinc54 »

I am getting strange banding when applying the X4 warp brush to a tiff file out of lightroom. Never seen anything like this in X2, X3 or adobe 16 bit brushes. pic below
(win 7 pro, i7 950, X58 MB, GTX460)

Ok found a solution: My graphics card (Nvidia GTX460) has a 3D setting called 'Anisotropic Filtering', the default setting is 'Application controlled'. When turned to 'OFF' the problem goes away.

Welcome to the forums, :)

Thanks for posting the solution to this. There's probably several using Nvidia and could experience this banding problem. I've seen that setting in mine, and have always left it on. Now I know what it can cause.

Thanks again.. :)
