Importing a gif file

is it possible to import a gif file? I created an animated .c3d ile and i would like to put a (animated) gif into this file.

Not that I'm aware of. I just tried to import, or open a .gif file and it wouldn't allow it. Kinda strange how C3D will create an animated gif, but you can't import one...

No it doesn't. THe problem is that a gif is a 2D item and it only deals with 3D objects, so it wouldn't know what to do with it.

Although it is interesting that you can add a video file as a texture, or a jpg or bitmap, but not a gif. Maybe the alpha channel complicates things
