Paying twice for uprgrades

Post by MrRoger »

Last month I upgraded from X2 to X3.

Now I find there is X4, with an upgrade option from X2 or higher.

So by luck of the lottery draw I get to pay twice for the upgrade? Is this deliberate Corel policy, most software companies give free upgrades to anyone who purchased in at least the last 3 months just to avoid these things.

Or should I just write idiot on my forhead

Contact Corel Directly they are sometimes lenient on these things. Other times not so much.

Thanks, I would like to try that.

Unfortunately I can't seem to find any way to actually get in touch. It's half an hour now that I have been going round in circles on the website.

I do have a PIN number, which they suggest I should have handy when I contact customer service.

Well customer service...my PIN is handy....and now

I bought my X3 upgrade, at a great discount on the 6th. As you know on the 7th, X4 came out. I did the chat on line thing, she said she would have a sales rep call me, which they did and gave me another great deal to upgrade. I actually ended up paying less than the current selling price for the X4upgrade. I love Corels customer service, though sometimes contact support info at the site can lead you around in circles. Good Luck.
