Paint Shop Pro X3 keeps trying to install itself

Post by phnxrsngbr »

I recently installed PSPX3 on my system and it's been running. I've been using it to create some photos I then use in VSX4. I'm also using Bluff Titler to edit some videos I created and suddenly PSP is trying to install itself, and freezing Bluff Titler. Any ideas on this?

This is the message I receive every time I try to add a video layer (this didn't happen yesterday while PSP was open on my computer)

Please wait while Windows configures Corel PaintShop Photo Pro X3. What's up with that? Then it says "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. ?? "Click OK to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package "PSPPro.msi' in the box below.

I can't use Bluff Titler with any of the video segments I've been creating because Paint Shop X3 (just recently installed) keeps trying to install itself. Any suggestions on how to alleviate this would be most helpful, it's very frustrating to say the least.

Thanks!

An update to this is that I just opened PSPX3 and then tried to use Bluff Titler again. Still won't work. While PSP is open it's trying to configure itself and it's driving me crazy. Do I need to uninstall PSPX3?

Thanks very much for your help!

You may want to download all PSP X3 updates here http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite/ ... 9872271743 and install the beta update at http://corel.force.com/index/articles/e ... re-dropped if you experience the pixels along the bottom edge of a selection are dropped.
