Re: does vector text get dropped in X4?
I don't know if it's been fixed but as of yet I have never experienced that particular bug. Every image I've printed, including a test one just now, have all had the text. But even the bug in X3 didn't effect all text. There were times when the text printed.
Are you asking because you experienced this problem with X4 or are you just curious? If you're just curious I recommend you download the trial and test some of your images that you've seen this problem with to see if you get the bug.

Re: does vector text get dropped in X4?
LeviFiction,
I'm having this problem in X3, but I have a work-around. My vector text is on a vector layer and when I'm ready to print, I copy the vector layer and convert the copied layer to raster. I then hide the original vector layer and I am able to print fine. I also have the ability to go back to the vector layer if I need to.
I was just wondering if this is fixed in X4, it might make the upgrade worthwhile. I might take your advise and download the trial. I understand it doesn't conflict with the older version. If it did, that would be a real problem as I am going to production and can't take any downtime.

Re: does vector text get dropped in X4?
I have X2, X3 & X4 all loaded on my PC and they don't interfere with one another.
PSPX9 | PSP2020 | PSP2021| PSP2022 | PSP2023 & PhotoMirage installed; PSPX | PSPX2 thru PSP2019 owned but not installed

This will be the first time I've heard about this. In anycase, you may want to update your PSP X3. You can download and install all the updates at http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite/ ... 9872271743
If you want to check if there is a problem with PSP X4, then you can download the trial of PSP X4 at www.corel.com/trials

Re: does vector text get dropped in X4?
It wasn't discussed often on the forums but the text problem in X3 still exists even with all four patches (including the patch 5 beta) so updating X3 doesn't make a difference right now. X4 does seem to have this problem solved so that is promising.

Re: does vector text get dropped in X4?
Abiel,
As Levi says, the problem exists on all four updates which I have installed.
Levi,
One more question, if I install the trial X4, will I have to uninstall it when I move to the released X4? Or, is it just a matter of flipping a switch?

Re: does vector text get dropped in X4?
dogulas, to activate the program from a trial to a full version you'll enter a serial number and it will just keep going. It couldn't be easier. I just downloaded the trial last night and the install was much much much smoother than X3 and took, I think, 20 minutes.
