Fix position of the note symbol in the surround mixer

Post by zehavi »

Hello,

When I am in the sound mixer and select for instance the music track, and want to drag the note symbol down toward the surround speakers, I have to hold the note with the mouse all the way of the entire music clip, otherwise, the symbol note returns slowly back to the center.
Is there any way to keep the note symbol fixed in the desire position whihout holdin the mouse all the time of the entire music clip?
I am using VS4

Thanks,
Abraham

Hi Abraham

I think you have to simply add another Key-Frame

I do not use DD Surround Sound but just had a play around with the Sound Mixer and was able to set the levels ok.

I selected Project Playback Mode
Choose the Music Icon as that is where my sound clip is positioned

Click on the sound mixer target screen (for want of a better description) this repositions the Blue Music Icon. I clicked a little lower than centre.

Play or reposition the timeline curser clicking the Blue Music Icon again will add a key-frame holding the Blue position.

Choosing another position will allow the sound to transpose/switch across speakers.

Right click the music clip timeline and select re-set volume to clear the key-frames.
Then start again…………
