Video Long Play Issue

Post by picman2 »

Hi to all. I have MovieFactory version 6 running on XP.
I'm trying to get this version to work for me but I can't get the LP (Long Play) movie file reduction option to work so I can get a 2 or 2.5 hour movie on to a standard 4.7 DVD.
My previous older version 3SE does this with no problem.
I've installed updates for my video card and other applications but it still won't make the LP option function at all. It is a registered version.
I also find it takes about 6 minutes to load a full movie into version 6 whereas it only takes seconds in version 3SE.
A photo is attached of both my programs show the reduction bar on both videos.
Has anyone else struck this issue and if so did you resolve it and how please?

You haven't been forgotten or ignored. I've been trying to figure out why this is happening. I've tried with both DVD MF6 and 7 Pro. I did manage to get a slight change in MF 6. This was done by changing the bitrate manually.
