WHY?
I rely on this more than anything to follow up what I was doing?
I'd like the list longer as in Word 2010

I personally like starting my recent images anew every now and again. And while there are workarounds to clearing that list I'd prefer not to have to resort to those for something so simple.

I wish a switchable Option to show in Smart Photo Fix overexposed Pixels in red color.I think its also nice to have such a feature in the RAW window and also have the Smart PhotoFix sliders and automatic.smart photofix is really great, the automatic do a good job, and best is, that can change all sliders.

maybe its possible that in the Adjust mode with a press to mid mousebutton the original image is show, so have a simple to program compare function.Have split window i think not so important to have.but if its possible i like it too.

Vuescan and Canon's DPP both have the option to show blown highlights and clipped shadows. I'm sure other editors do as well.
The preview of a given tool should have a side by side comparison.
Adobe isn't the only one with this stuff.

I'm a little late to the party, having just got a new computer the other day with X4 Ult, but I'm a long-time PSP user. Until recently I was running X2 Ult on an XP machine.

Wishlist:

- Color icons definitely. Maybe a tad smaller too, but the gray ones do not make it.
- I would like to be able to copy a mask from one adjustment layer to another--for example, from Levels to Color Balance. I can sort of re-create the mask using the magic wand, but it's not accurate. I would do this a lot.
- Back in X2 I had put a File|Revert button up on the button bar. I would like to do it in X4 too, but I can't find the command in the Customize options. I believe there's mention of it in the Help, but I can't find it in the app. Did they leave it out by accident? I would definitely like it back.
- Adjustment layers now seem to pop up right smack in the middle or the workspace, and with "Preview on image" unchecked. I would like layers to appear in their last position, and with "Preview on image" as the default.

If any of these features are actually in the program, please set me straight.

Do the developers actually read these?

The beta testers do have a newer version to review - so you'll have to wait to see if any of your dreams will come true in the service pack!!

I'd like some built in text effects.

i know you can potentially do quite a lot with text if you put your mind to it. but it would be nice to see something built in. reflections, that sort of thing. something like word art. in office 2007+

Effects you can apply to Vectors as opposed to text effects would be better. This way you aren't forced to set the vectors to rasters to apply effects. Right now all we have is the layer styles, which do work on vector layers but not on separate vector objects. If you want reflections on text alone you need to give it its own vector layer and set the layer styles to perform the reflection effect for you.

I guess someone has already suggested this. A 64-bit native executable for PSP X4.

certainly a move to enabling all effects to work on vector objects where possible would be desirable.

but separately i am saying it would be nice to see some Word Art like text options.
