Thanks for the tip. TiltShift Maker is marvelous, but it's an online tool:

Allow Toolbar to dock against left side of open palettes on the right side of the screen.

I like to have my toolbar in that position to reduce mouse and wrist movement. However, PSPX4 recognizes the toolbar as "floating" when there. Thus, in some cases the right side of the image is hidden underneath the toolbar.

TiltShift Maker has a Bokeh effect as well, I think that is what they were referring to as it fits with the discussion that lead up to the link.

To be able to modify the colour of the Precise Cursor. The simple black/white clashes with detailed backgrounds.
Too hard on the eyes.

Customizable icons for binding scripts. For a graphic program this should be obvious. How easy is it to remember that you bound a specific script to the pink star icon or the blue gear icon. The icons available are probably 99% not representative of what the bound script is.

You know I was convinced they were going to put customizable icons in, it was something I really wanted before the beta came out. Maybe they still will but the extra options for customizing menu and toolbar items suggests they were working on it. It just hasn't made it into any release yet.

Perhaps you'll get another opportunity during beta testing of PSPX5?

In PSP X4, as in previous versions, there are the options of Full Screen Edit (I think that's the designation) and also Tabbed Edit. In X4, though, a change has been made so that in the Tabbed Edit mode the image can be zoomed, but the frame remains the same size. in former versions this was not the case: the frame zoomed along with the image. I am told by one of your representatives that this alteration was made so that PSP would behave like Photoshop. To me this is a huge mistake. I have used PSP since the Jasc days, and have never gone back to Photoshop because it is maddeningly counter-intuitive - and this, I think, is another instance of Photoshop's weirdness. I can't see any logical reason not to zoom the frame along with the image. The way it is now, one has to go to Fit Image to Window or Fit Window to Image every time one zooms. I would like the old way back, and would suggest thinking seriously before trying to imitate Photoshop.

I have no complaints but i think the interface should be more user friendly at least for a new user..

In X4, improve the Computer tab of the Manage view so that you can actually manage your images. It is sorely lacking the ability to delete, rename, drag-n-drop or add folders. No context menu at all!

That the "Tool Options" palette can AUTO HIDE - so you don't have this huge window in the way all the time.
The world would be easier if people were easier.
