When I use the Smart Photo Fix command, and check Advanced Settings I see the black & white correction options, BUT I do NOT see the before & after left & right preview panes that are necessary to let me choose black & white & grey points on my image.
Is this a known issue? Or something due to my settings?
There seems to be another post/thread on this topic BUT unfortunately I cannot open that post: when I try I see the message: No post matches the time frame selected even though I have set this to ALL POSTS. So sad...

Re: Smart Photo Fix Advanced Settings lacks before/after pan
In what way aren't they there? Is the option to reveal the previews not there? Is it off screen?
At the top left of the dialog should be the text "preview" with an arrow next to it. If the arrow is pointing at the text then the previews were minimized. If this is the case then click on this and the arrow should.now point down with the previews available. Or is this area off screen? Because that is another problem altogether.

Re: Smart Photo Fix Advanced Settings lacks before/after pan
Thank you! This helps with a lot of other special effects!
Something changed somewhere along the way & I had not caught up: if it was an option in PSPX it was on by default!
Maybe there is such a thing as too many options!

As best as I remember, this changed for X3: I think the preview was on by default in 8 through X2, but it was off by default in X3. Unfortunately, I don't know of any way to turn Preview on on all dialogs, except by doing it individually, one-by-one.SJS wrote:Something changed somewhere along the way & I had not caught up: if it was an option in PSPX it was on by default!
