Can Paint Shop Pro X3 monitore a folder?

Post by ewsg »

Hi,

I purchased Corel Paint Shop Pro X3 and would like to know if can it monitor a folder.

For example, can I configure it to be "focused" on the folder I save all my photos, and always open this folder when I open it?

Also, is it possible to make Corel Paint Shop Pro X3 opens automatically when my camera is connected to my PC?

Thanks in advance for your help. :)

I'm not sure if you can associate the program when your camera is connected but you can associate the program to automatically open when you double-click the photos taken by your camera or raw files. Of course you need to check first if PSP X3 supports the raw files of your camera.

Here are the steps on how to make PaintShop Pro the default program for pictures and RAW files http://corel.force.com/index/articles/e ... r-pictures

Here are the list of supported RAW files of PSP X3: http://corel.force.com/index/articles/e ... ra-support

Hi,

Thank you very much.

So, what I would like to know is make PSP X3 always open my photos's folder when I start the program. Always to open my photo collection. Is it possible? :)

If you launch the program and use the file open command or icon, it will remember the last folder you used with the program.

Hi,

Thank you very much. :)

Do you think it is worth to upgrade to X4 version?

Personally, I prefer X4 to X3 but I would highly recommend downloading the X4 trial to judge for yourself if it's worth it to you. It all depends on personal preference and how you use the program.
