I am having 2 problems with vs9.
one is preview is upside down
second is usb driver is not being recognized, so it is using a generic usb video setting for my web cam which is a panasonic DV camcorder
i am using win xp, radeon video card and gina sound card
Thanks

The upside-down video is likely courtesy of a bug in the capture driver, as detailed in this article.

If you are trying to transfer video from the camcorder to your PC using a USB connection, you may not be able to do that. Typically, Firewire is used to transfer DV video, and USB is only used to transfer still images or provide webcam functionality. That's how it is on my Panasonic PV-GS400 for instance.

How are you capturing, i.e. what connection type, what file format, and what codec (if applicable)? Have you updated your DirectX and video card drivers?

I am capturing using usb connection as a webcam
dont know what codec it is using.
directx is updated as well as video drivers
Funny thing after I updated from VS 6 SE, I still have access to VS 6SE and when I try to cature from that program, preview is right side up.
So I assume it must be an adjustment I need to do for VS 9 program.
any thoughts on this?
Thanks
