Mask and texture

I'm trying to add my own mask and texture. I place texture in the paper folder (BMP 8bit ), but it does not show up, unless I save as paper36 and losing the original. Some one kind enough to help out?

If I use paint creator, texture option, I don't see my own texture that i added.

Ok, just tried and was able to add mine. On Vista I had to modify the Security settings for the Paper folder to be able to add it. The texture needs to be the same size 160 x 160 px, and a bmp file. The last texture in my Paper folder was Paper38.bmp, so I saved mine as Paper39.bmp. Opened the Paint Creator and there it is. It shows in the Paint Creator as Texture 39
