Burning ISO to a VCD (CD-R) or AVI or MPEG
Ok, I made a slide show using Ulead's CD&DVD PictureShow. It saved as an ISO image. My dilema is: I do not have a DVD burner, but I need to have this play on my home dvd player. I've tried everything but nothing seems to work. The closest I have gotten is using Alcohol 120%. The problem was I could not access my menu. The music would play - and then the slides would play. Never did they play at the same time. If I could get the ISO to an avi or mpeg that would be great, my dvd player will play those. It also states that it plays VCD's, so either way. Any thoughts?

The iso is unreadable by standard programs as it is not, in itself, a video file, but rather a data file. (specifically it is exact instructions on how to burn the DVD). What you want to do is load up Pictureshow and in the lower left corner you'll see an option that says DVD taht you can change to VCD. That should let you create a projcet that can be burned to a CD

The only problem I am having there, is that the main menu's are not accessible. All I can do is hit play. I cannot skip chapters, pause, stop, or anything. What would cause this? Also, when I get my dvd burner and use Pictureshow to finally burn it on a dvd, will the menu functions work and play like they do when i use a drive emulator? Can I use Nero or Alcohol120% to burn the ISO to DVD-R and still have all the bells and whistles?
