Welcome to the forums, :)

Unfortunately, Error numbers/codes have meaning to the programmers/developers only. How are you trying to open it? Are you double-clicking on it in a windows explorer window, or from within PI?

Just to be clear, this is a user to user web board. Most of us here are users just like you who volunteer their time to help out others. To our knowledge only two people directly associated with Corel come here occasionally -- and never, as far as I can recall, in relation to PhotoImpact, which has been dropped from the Corel stable. That is why Ron said that those error codes don't mean anything to us.

I wish we could but as both Ron and Ken said, we really can't with error messages and nor will Corel help you either as there is no technical help available.

The .UFO has obviously become corrupt if it won't open and gives you an error number. I'm afraid you've lost it.
Can you do it again?

I have been running PI 11 for years on Windows XP SP3. As I bought a new system and it has Windows 7 SP1, I moved all my existing My Documents files over the network to a server system so I could easily access them from the new system.

I loaded PI 11 to the new box, and received the [800:93:5136] error when trying to open my .ufo files over the network on a mapped drive. If I copy back the file to the local hard disk on Windows 7, I could open the file. Ok, the file is *not* corrupt.

On the MS Windows Compatibility page at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compat ... &os=32-bit : it shows X3 as being Windows 7 compatible.

Purchased the PI Upgrade to X3, installed it on Windows 7, and the same problem. Agggghhhhh.

I have narrowed it down some. I can copy the file to my Linux Ubuntu server, map the drive, and open the file. When the file is on my MacPro running OS X Lion, I cannot open the file. Both servers were attached to the Windows 7 system by mapping the drive, the copy from Win to Linux/Mac was done by copy/paste.

So, it seems like a network problem with the Mac OS X Lion. Hmm, just tried the same to my older Mac Mini running Leopard, and it works.

Shoot, what is the deal with Lion? Any ideas?

TIA,
Rick

Again, I wish I could help but have no idea about Lion, Mac and PI even working on Mac.
