Recently I have a problem with PaintShop Photo Pro X3. When I want to use the tool text, the screen becomes white and PSP crashes! Over and over again.
I have the same problem on the laptop. Can anybody tell me what's wrong? Thanks

Re: PSP crashes when using title editor
Do you have X3 or X3Ultimate?
If you have X3 did you install all of the service packs?
Also is one of your materials set to transparent? When x3 first came out if you used transparency with the text tool it crashed the whole program, but that's the only reference I have to this problem. If you have all of the service packs then I've got nothing.

You can also try resetting your workspace. You can do that by pressing and holding down the SHIFT key then double-click on the PSP icon then when you received the message "DO YOU WAN TO RESTORE PAINTSHOP Pro TO ITS DEFAULT STATE?" just click OK.

Well, I guess the problem is solved. I did had some materials set to transparent and now the titel editor works 100% again! Thanks LeviFiction and Abiel for your input.LeviFiction wrote:

Re: PSP crashes when using title editor
Yes but you shouldn't be having this problem if you have all of the service packs. After service pack 2 this particular problem, as far as I'm aware, vanished. So the materials being set to transparent should not bother you if you're all up to date.
If you have not downloaded the service packs then you need to do so.
